FF 2012 Feature & Follow #106

Thank goodness it's Friday everyone! It's been a rough week! Time for a blog hop!

Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read

Here are the rules to the blog hop!
To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
    • (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
    • (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
    • Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
    • Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
    • If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
    • Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
    • If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers
    • If you’re new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Q: Christmas in July! Someone gives you a gift card for two books (whatever that costs). What two books will you buy?

 Geez. I was hoping it would be an easy question today... no such luck. Well, there are some books that I would love to add to my book collection. I would probably get a nice hardback version of Bitterblue, by Cashore, which probably was my favorite read of the year. I would also like to utilize the fact that I can spend whatever I want for these books, so would love to get a first edition of something-- like a really old copy of Shakespeare's plays or Lord of the Rings trilogy. :-)
And now the moment you have all been waiting for: the Winners of our great giveaway of Shawn's book The Intern's Tale and Insurgent by Veronica Roth!
a Rafflecopter giveaway

Congrats! I've emailed the winners, but if they don't respond within 48 hours, I will select another winner! Have a great Friday, everyone! Don't forget to tune in on Monday for an interview with Lisa Burstein and a giveaway of signed bookmarks and bracelets!

  12. I hadn't thought of a Shakespeare play. That's pretty good...definitely something rare that would be cool to take out every once in a while!

  13. Gah! I didn't even think of getting books I'd already read, ya know? I'd like a nice first edition of Jane Austen, Shakespeare... maybe a super fancy collection of Homer's works. Dang. I wish I'd thought of that.
