Post One: Back to Blogging: Help me Clean my Shelf! Books, swag, and mayhem! Giveaway INT

Dear All:
It's been a while since I've been back to blogging. It's been great, getting back to know publishers, authors, and fellow bloggers! I've looked on my shelf, and have realized that I need to make space for new reads, and plus I need to actually read all of the books that are on my TBR shelf so that I can pass them along to other people!

To start this party off, I will be giving away a mystery box of books filled with random goodies and older ARCs. I will be reading and posting about each book I read (I'm aiming for 1 a week) and if I can bear to part with them, offering them up to you in a later book giveaway!

I have some great stuff planned (and great giveaways planned too!) in the near future so stay tuned! Now enter to win! The book box is US only (Sorry!) but INT readers are open to win some cool swag packages! I will host a book giveaway for you guys in the future.

  1. I read ARC's, especially for reviews, but love winning them too. I haven't been giving them away, but am thinking of running some giveaway of my own and passing them along...at least some of them. :-)

  2. It's quite delightful to read books before they are released especially books that I've been anticipating. I will read either format, but I prefer physical copies. I keep some ARCs, but most I give away.

  3. I love ARCs. The first time I got one I felt so cool! Now, if it is a favorite author, or a book I fall in love with, then I keep it. Otherwise I try to trade them for new ARCs.

  4. I read ARCs, and if I love them, they stay on my shelf. If not, I try to trade them for ones I want or give them to my cousin. I haven't traded much this year, but I have about 2 stacks that I need to get out of the way.

  5. I love paper ARCs! If they're paperback, I often replace them with hardcover finished versions later. I have one friend who I loan them to, or sometimes give them to. Thanks!

  6. I love reading ARCs but I love them in paperback because I don't really read anything on the Kindle. Thanks for the great giveaway!! :D

  7. I love ARCs, any format though hard copies are extra great to trade or giveaway. I only keep books that I absolutely must have no matter what. My space is just too small for a bunch of books I've read and those I want to read, especially when they can move on to other people.

  8. I love ARCs, especially hard copies. I usually keep them afterwards, because I dunno I just like collecting them, but if I get the finished copy, I pass the ARC along to a friend.

  9. I love ARCs, if it's an ARC by a favorite author or if I end up loving it I'll keep it. Otherwise I usually trade them or give them to someone else.

  10. Even though it says my entry is from the UK, I'll be back in the US in 3 wks, so could I enter for the box of books?:-)
    I love ARCs - I collect them!

  12. I enjoy ARCs!! I only collect a couple at this point. Mostly I try to trade or give them away. I prefer print ARCs.

  13. I appreciate ARCs and that they give bloggers an advance chance to review them-- but I don't collect very many! Only from favorite authors :)

  14. My favorite book mail, I just got today. It was a prize pack from Lee Kelly: A Criminal Magic, City of Savages, a custom journal, pencils with "I'm a boss" in gold, cocktail jelly beans, a cocktail shaker and swag.

  15. I love ARCs but I've been asked not to give them away by publishers. They'd rather send a final printing and have me give that away.
