Hi everyone! Lots of fun stuff!
First, congrats to the winner of an e-copy of The Violet Fox, Ashley! Respond within 48 hours or I will pick another winner.
Next, some fun updates.
1) I have loads of awesome interviews coming up. I'm also starting to do some character interviews, including one of Morpheus from Splintered!
2) Jonathan Maberry of Rot and Ruin fame has decided to do an interview! I'm very excited.
I am so thrilled about the next interview/giveaway! Tracy Rozzlynn is one of the first indie authors I've ever interacted with, and she's terrific! Start entering this awesome giveaway. Her interview will go up on Sunday as usual. She has two great trilogies out right now: Verita and Fast Tracked.
Goodreads description of Verita: If your world suddenly
crumbled, leaving you with nothing but heartache, would you risk your
life for a chance at a new beginning on a new world?
Brett
Bradbury's parents are dead, her boyfriend's a cheater, and her best
friend essentially dumped her. Truly alone in the world, Brett agrees to
help colonize the newly discovered planet, Verita.
Now Brett's
on a strange new world. She quickly makes friends and starts her
assigned job. Verita begins to feel like home, but it's far from
perfect. Brett has an overwhelming attraction to Brody, despite the fact
that he's entirely not her type. Her colleague, Ryan, utterly hates her
for reasons out of her control. And there are creatures in the forest
that would like nothing more than to devour everyone for dinner.
Brett's
heart and mind are at odds each other. She's constantly fighting with
Ryan. So, Concentrating on her job is becoming more and more difficult.
Plus it's hard to ignore some of the strange things that have been
happening around her. But, when Brett finds herself stranded in the
wilderness, the only thing that matters is survival.
Goodreads book description of Fast Tracked: Study hard, do well on your assessment, and you’ll be rewarded.
The
phrase had been repeated throughout Alexandria's life. A person’s
ranking on the assessment test determined everything. Their job, where
they lived, and even who they could marry. At least that’s what
Alexandria though before she received the results.
Everything
Alexandria believed was a lie. Fast-trackers run the country. Anger one
of them and your whole world could fall apart. Anger one of them and the
people you love would suffer.
Alexandria was elevated to
fast-tracker status while her best-friend turned true love was plummeted
to the lowest possible rank - a guaranteed life of hardship and misery.
She plunges herself into the fast-tracker’s world in hopes of helping
Byron. But can she help Byron before she completely loses herself to the
allure of their lifestyle?
Enter now! :-)

I would choose the high society because I like to know about my surroundings.
ReplyDeleteI would choose to go to the undiscovered planet. It would be a great adventure!
ReplyDeleteI think I would rather learn to live in a different kind of society here on Earth than have to go to a strange, uncharted planet - too scary since it would probably be further than my 5 mile radius from home comfort zone :D
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, I am LOVING the covers on the Verita series (especially the 2nd book!!) *sigh!* <3
I would definately visit and travel to the unexplored planet! I am a huge science-fiction, fantasy and YA fan so both of the above books sound amazing! Thank you so much for this increadible giveaway. It would make Christmas this year extra special to win a book, so thank you for the chance. x

I'd choose the planet, because I'd love the adventure, and high society intrigues are boring.
ReplyDeleteI would go to the undiscovered planet! It would be so much fun to see all the new things!

i would choose the life where you are negleced by everyone, but still has a place in the world... just not our world.
ReplyDeleteI would choose a high society/intrigue, because it would be more accommodating than an undiscovered planet.
ReplyDeleteI would visit the new planet. This one is getting really old, really fast. Does that make sense?
ReplyDeleteI would visit the new planet!
ReplyDeleteOooh... hmm. The new planet. It's time for a major change. lol
ReplyDeleteI'd choose the new planet because I'm curious and love to discover new things ! :D
