This book sounds really interesting. I don't think I've read anything like it and I'd love to get a chance to read it! Thanks so much for the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteMost of the time I like to read paperback books. I actually don't have a kindle but I use a kindle account and read on my laptop or my phone. That's not the best way so I usually just stick to hard copy books. I also like having the paperback books because I like to organize them.
ReplyDeleteI started this book a little while ago and got distracted. I just need to finish up this library book I checked out so I can get back to it!
ReplyDeleteI go back and forth between physical books and electronic books. It depends on my mood and where I'm at. I carry my e-reader with me nearly everywhere so I'm never without a book!
ReplyDeleteActually I prefer hardcopy because I love holding books, the smells, the texture. It's comfortable enough for my eyes, and I could go back and forth fast. But reading on smartphone or e-reader is handy, especially when you're traveling. Also, somehow I can read faster compare to when I'm reading hardcopy.
ReplyDeleteI like both, although I find that I read faster when I read paper books. I enjoy the Kindle app I use, but I'd love to read from an actual Kindle and see how I like it.
ReplyDeleteUsually I prefer to have a physical book to read, but lately I have found myself reading a lot more with e-readers. I don't have a kindle, but I have the kindle app on my phone and computer. Sometimes it is nice to have access to it whenever I want because it's usually a lot easier to carry my phone in my pocket than carrying a book. Reading on my phone isn't too bothersome either! I never thought I would enjoy reading on an e-reader, but it has definitely grown on me.
ReplyDeleteI actually prefer both but I find myself enjoying the book more when I have a physical copy... I love reading with the feel of the pages (and the smell of a newly-bought book) on my hands, :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
- Diana
I prefer to read by hard copy, because we all agree that nothing beats physical books. But I also want to own a Kindle, because ebooks are a lot cheaper than paperbacks, and with it you can carry thousands of books in your pocket everywhere.

ReplyDeleteI prefer hard copy because I am just an old school book girl, but I have been reading more and more on my kindle and ipad mini.
ReplyDeleteThank you for such a fantastic book giveaway!
ReplyDeleteIn response to your question, i would have to say that i love hardbacks/ paperbacks and am a traditionalist when it comes to reading! I love libraries filled with shelves of dusty, old books that have beautiful covers and colorful spines which look visually apealing and tempting. I also think that it is special to be able to hold a physical book in your hand and read those words on paper ~ it feels more 'real' and tangible.
I love books..but ebooks are so confortable!!!!I really enjoy reading on kindle;)
ReplyDeleteI've always prefered a print book to read but lately I've been reading a lot of e-books too. So let's say for some books Kindle is awesome but for my all-time favorite series I go back to print. =)
ReplyDeleteI have recently discovered I read faster on my Kindle due to its portability, my book can go anywhere I go, win! So I guess I prefer ebooks, but I still love my paperbacks and I still have to have my favorite series on my bookshelf.
ReplyDeleteI prefer hard copy. I can deep read more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!

I prefer a hard copy because I still like the feel of a "real" book, but there are so many good eBooks out there that I read both. Plus, the Kindle is great for bringing on vacation!
ReplyDeleteI like to read hard copy because I adore the feeling of a book in my hands and see all my books in a shelf but if I had a Kindle (I only have the app on my phone...) I'm sure I'd read so much more books.
ReplyDeleteI like to read hard copy because I adore the feeling of a book in my hands and see my shelf full of books. If I had a Kindle (I only have the app in my phone...) I'm sure I would read a lot more books.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I've never owned an e-reader because I can't afford one. I was against them when they first came out because I love physical copies but I've been wanting one more and more lately, especially since I can't read in bed when I can't sleep without waking up my fiancé in the process. I also don't have a phone or laptop to use so an e-reader would be VERY helpful. Sometimes authors ask me to read and review their books but I have to turn them down because they are only available in ebook format and I don't have an e-reader. :(
ReplyDeleteI like to read by hard copy, more convenient for me and easier.
ReplyDeleteThank you SO MUCH for your review! Cannot wait to start this series - also thank u for this super generous giveaway ;-)

ReplyDeleteI like to read hard copy books. But Kindle's okay too.
ReplyDeleteI love reading with a hard copy but sometimes it's easier to read with an e-reader, especially while travelling. :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer print - I love the smell and feel of books. But I've never used an actual e-reader. If I was going to try one, it would be the Kindle paperwhite.
ReplyDeleteI love Kindle, my dad had one and I was thinking about having one. I hope I win hehehe
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway. I can't wait to read these! I love to read by Kindle because I read quicker actually!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this chance...I've been thinking of getting an eReader for quite some time!
ReplyDeleteHard copy. Because I don't have a Kindle. :(
ReplyDeleteI like both but I prefer kindle :)
ReplyDeleteI read both, but I prefer hard, paper books. I do enjoy the ease of Kindle books though, can't really beat the great deals!
ReplyDeleteI have a kindle and I ADD lots of books...but I don't actually READ too many. I always grab for my print book first and since I'm a librarian, I ALWAYS have print books around.
ReplyDeleteI prefer print, but I like reading ecopies whenever I'm on vacation or when I'm about to go to bed :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer prints for books that I will reread because I love the feel of them, kindle copies are great for storing a lot of books that you might've bought just because of a freebie or one-click
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! Although I do read ebooks they got nothing on a brand new hardcover book don't feel the same, don't smell the same.
ReplyDeleteI like to read by hardcover or paperback. I love the feel and smell of books so much. Don't get me wrong, I love my ereaders.
ReplyDeleteI like hardcover for the look on my shelves, but I like the Kindle because of the great deals!
ReplyDeleteI like both. I enjoying going to the library and looking for books. The battery never dies on a book. Sometimes I just want to turn a real page. With the ereader, I like being able to check books out when I'm too busy to go to the library. No late fees for ebooks at my library.
ReplyDeleteI love to read both hardcover or ebooks. I don't own a kindle reader but I would sure love to win one! :D Thanks for the great opportunity! :)
ReplyDeleteI love both but my Kindle is great at night! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like to read hard copies when I'm at home because I like the smell of new books but I also like Kindle because I can take it anywhere I go without having much trouble.
ReplyDeleteI really love my Kindle. But hard copies have a special place in my heart, the smell, the feel of a book is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteHard copy is definitely still my preferred choice! I do like the Kindle for the fact that you can have loads of books at your fingertip. So easy for traveling!
ReplyDeleteI prefer books physically in my hands. So, I prefer hard copy. Plus, I like looking at them on my shelf.
ReplyDeleteI prefer hard copy because I do not own a Kindle. I do, however, own a Kobo BUT it is a 1st gen one and too small for my *old* eyes to read with lol
ReplyDeleteI prefer hard copy. I just love the feel of them in my hands and the smell. I've worked for 2 bookstores and I just love that feeling of being surrounded by all these books and unexplored worlds. :)
ReplyDeleteWell I don't have a kindle so I'd have to say I prefer reading hard copies. I'd love to try reading from a kindle because I don't know whether I'd love it or hate it!
ReplyDeleteI prefer reading as an ebook but I do enjoy reading a hard copy from time to time. Ebooks are more convenient and the library doesn't occupy physical space.
ReplyDeleteActually both. I do have Kindle, but there is just something when you hold physical book :)
ReplyDeleteI like both, but prefer kindle!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Theresa Jones

Kindle! Don't have to search for a book, it doesn't cramp up my hands to read, it's compact. I could never go back:)
ReplyDeleteThis is a greatgiveaway, i hope to win bec id like to own one.
ReplyDeleteI use to be a hard copy addict but since I got a Kobo Glo that's all I want to read now.
ReplyDeleteTammy Dalley
I love the scent of books but Kindlee is too easy to use!
ReplyDeletei do not own a kindle so i read books.
ReplyDeleteGood luck all :)
ReplyDeleteI would like to read it because I would like to discover it!
ReplyDeleteI currently have a sony e-reader and anymore prefer ebooks to read. This way I can carry a whole series in my purse.
ReplyDeleteby kindle. because i read before i sleep which is dark already so i need lights. LOL
ReplyDeletekindle version cause i haven;t had a kindle and would love his book to be the first one i read
ReplyDeleteI'd love to read this book! Thank you for the awesome giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a Kindle (yet), so I read books on my PC or paperbacks. But it would be awesome to have a Kindle so I could take it everywhere with me.
ReplyDeleteI like to read hard copy b/c I like to collect my books, but I like kindle when traveling
ReplyDeleteI used to be hard copy only and swore I would never ever ever go digital.. But well, things change. I moved around a lot, realized it's so hard to lug books with me.. And most weren't worth taking anyway. When my boyfriend bought me a Kindle for my birthday a few years ago it wasn't long until I was hooked.
ReplyDeleteI now only buy a few very choice books. It's nice. It makes them all that much more special. I no longer hoard books on principle.
I don't have a Kindle but I did borrow one for vacation. It was nice and seemed really easy to use! So for now I prefer paperback cuz that's what I have :)
ReplyDeleteLove to read with my Kindle Touch. Why? It can bring literally hundreds of books with me wherever I go. Plus, the reason I love it the most is I can make the letters as big as I need them to comfortably read. The only downfall of my Kindle is I love to read in bed or while traveling and with no back light there is no reading. Once it becomes dusk, it becomes bothersome to try and read on it. A Kindle Paperwhite would solve that! Thanks for the chance to win one!
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely rather the kindle. I want one so badly!
ReplyDeleteIt depends but I like reading heavy books using kindle because it's easier and lighter. :) Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteIf i had to choose i prefer reading hard copies slightly more because i love the smell of new books. I know....I am weird, LOL. However I have such a collection that I am now running out of space and the only thing on my Christmas list is a Kindle! My fingers are so crossed!
ReplyDeleteRight now I am reading on a tablet not originally used for ebooks and it's bulky and clumsy so i so want a Kindle! Tried the Nook...didn't like it at all!

I have to say hard cover but I actually usually read kindles
ReplyDeleteI love reading hard copies and haven't had the opportunity to try eReaders but think they'd certainly save me some gas $ in not having to make the weekly library run.
ReplyDeleteHardcopy. I just like having a read book in my hands. I just got a kindle so we'll see if that changes in the future.
ReplyDeleteI love reading ebooks, but sometimes I just have to hold a book in my hands. I don't care how many ebooks I buy, when I see paper, I still have to buy them... Thank you for your wonderful giveaway.
ReplyDeleteIt depends. I prefer reading big books (eg: a song of ice and fire) on the kindle, they're less heavy. But for most books I enjoy reading hardcopy. I actually plan to buy the entire series of a song of ice and fire!
ReplyDeleteGood question. I love to read using an ereader. I find that if I fall asleep in bed while reading my page is saved. When I'm reading an actual book I have to search for where I left off. Although, I love signed copies and when I win or buy one, they are reserved for the special bookshelf that no one but me is allowed to touch. :-D
ReplyDeleteThanks,

I love hard copies, theres just something about seeing all of my books lined up on my shelves, makes me happy :) and reminds me of what I have, sometimes books get lost on my kindle lol

I love paperbacks, and I'm very proud of my shelves. Ebooks don't have any charm ;-)
ReplyDeleteBut kindle is perfect for trips.
I prefer a hard copy because I like actually having the book in my hand and I don't have a Kindle.
ReplyDeleteWhile I enjoy the convenience of my kindle books, I do miss physical ones. The only thing that has me appreciating ebooks, which I have to read on my phone for now, are my commutes to and from work. It can get exhausting carrying the books around when I walk 1 mile to and from the train and then a few blocks to work. Also, ebooks are perfect for treadmills while books tend to shut or fall off on me.
ReplyDeleteI love the smell of a book. I love to read! It has quickly become an addiction. I got back into reading when a friend loaned me Twilight. After that I hit the library up every two weeks leaving with 10 to 12 books to read in those two weeks. I read Vampire Diaries and Blue Bloods and delved deeper into YA! Found great authors like Julie Halpern and L.J. Smith. Fell in love with House of Night and Vampire Academy. Dipped into Ann Brasheres and Go Ask Alice. Wept over The Lovely Bones and got caught up with everything I had been missing. My kids are teenagers and were right along with me. Even my boys have read Night World and Evernight!
ReplyDeleteI love being able to pass along a physical book with my whole family. And love seeing my book collection grow. I have just started buying books and winning them! :) I do love a physical book for
daytime reading.
But at night when my lamp is intrusive to my husband my Reading Apps are my best friends and my advocate when it comes to free books and in those free ebooks finding great new authors! It's my Read and Review Buddy!
So I suppose I just don't have a favorite of the two I love them both but......
That being said if my house were on fire my ebooks would make it out while my paperbacks would be after my three children, disabled hubby and four dogs!
:)
And that's all I have to say about that!
Thanks for this giveaway Christina!
Vicky Savage I am looking forward to reading these books whether I win these or not!!
I love the smell of a physical book. I love that I can pass it along to my kids.
ReplyDeleteI have recently started building up my bookshelf buying and winning! I had not read anything at all for years! My neighbor loaned me Twilight and then New Moon after reading the Twilight Series I was obsessed with reading.
I went to the library and looked for Twilight. I located in the YA section and the rest is history. I delved head first into ten to twelve books every two weeks!
From Go Ask Alice to The Lovely Bones. Vampire Diaries, Blue Bloods, House Of Night, Night World, Wicked Lovely, Get Well Soon, Into The Wild Nerd Yonder, Thirst by Christopher Pike and R.L. Stine's Bitten and everything in between! I really do love physical books!
But at night when my lamp shines like a beacon in my Hubby's eyes my reader apps are my best friends!
I also love it for trips and on the go! And most definitely for the free books! Without those free books I wouldn't havefound my favorite authors like Addison Moore, K.A. Last, Jessica Sorensen, Amber Jaeger, Chanda Hahn, Brandy Nacole, Nicole Williams and Cindy M. Hogan to just name a few!!!
So of the two I don't have a favorite. I just love to read!!!
But if my house were on fire I must say my eBooks would make it out while my physical copies would be a low priority behind my three teens, disabled hubby and four dogs!!!
:)
Thanks so much for this giveaway Christina and Vicky Savage I look forward to reading your books!
Dear Christina,
DeleteI thought my first comment was lost so I wrote the second one. I like part of both LOL if you want me to delete one I will just let me know LOL sorry!!!
I do enjoy the feel of a paperwhite ook however it would be Nice to have a kindle
ReplyDeleteI prefer kindle, because I can have all my books with me all the time - and it doesn't make my bag weigh a ton. Also, it's easier to hold, I can read anywhere, too! On the bus, at the beach in bed :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting an international giveaway!
Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
I prefer hard copy. I just love the feel of them in my hands and the smell.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to read on kindle mainly because otherwise I have too many books to keep track of at my house I also like being able to buy the book instantly.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I'm old fashioned enough to still love the feel of a book in my hands. I do think that size and weight make the kindle the better option of the 2 tho....
ReplyDeletemost likely, a physical copy because I don't have a kindle reader yet.. =)
ReplyDeleteI actually really enjoy both, but I think my favorite still remains my paper books. I do think I read faster on my Kindle, though, although supposedly that's opposite of what studies will tell you most people do! I DO love having loads of books available at a moment's notice - especially for traveling, because I'd NEVER travel (even overnight, no lie) with fewer than 3 books :) At the same time, though, I love the feel of my books, the smell of both used and new books, the turning of the pages and crinkling of plastic on the jacket (read lots of library books), etc....I'll just never give that up. I'm quite happy being able to choose from both options!
ReplyDeleteive always been anti-ereader because i love the smell and feel of a real book. cant really cuddle with an electronic. but its hard to find a particular author im looking for so i would love to just have them all at my fingertips
ReplyDeleteI like a little of both.. nice of you to do the giveaway.. thanks for taking the time..;)
