Feature and follow (22): What character would I be from any book?

Welcome back, everyone! Yesterday was crazy busy so I haven't had time to post this until now!

  • Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  • Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
  • If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  • Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”

  • If you’re new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Q: Activity! Who do you want to be? If you could choose any character from a book. What do you think that character looks like and what do you have in common?

Geesh. This is a tough one. I'd love to be a character in Harry Potter of course, and I'm sure Hermione is a popular choice today. She's totally kick butt, smart, and powerful.

The problem with my love of dystopians is that I actually would not want to be any of them, but love reading about them! Who wants to live in a zombie infested world or one that has been killed off for some reason or another?

A couple of characters that would be fun to be for a day, would be Rose or Lissa from Vampire Academy, or Tris from Divergent, because they are totally kick butt heroines as well.

  1. I completely agree about the dystopian characters! A lot of my most favorite characters have pretty hard/scary/lonely lives there for a little while. Things get better, but I wouldn't be in their shoes no matter what.

I thought about Sookie Stackhouse originally, but then realized that people in her family have been murdered, her friends have been murdered, she's been beaten up, and tortured... and gah! Love her but wouldn't want to be her!

Thanks for stopping by Auggie-Talk! Really enjoy your blog!

  2. I love your answer! As a dystopian junkie myself, I definitely don't want to be in the world, but I would love to be that cool for just one day! Thanks for stopping by and following my blog!

  3. I kind of agree - I wouldn't want to live and try to fight to survive in a dystopian world! I like my comforts!

  6. I guess you are right if I wanted to be a character from a dystopian book, I would like their personality but not the world they live in, but if they hadn't been born in that world they wouldn't be the characters we love.

  9. My thoughts exactly on the dystopian. I love to read about them, but I wouldn't necessarily want to be in their shoes. :-)

    Thanks for stopping by!
